A Hong Kong secondary school teacher has been jailed for 10 months for illegally detaining a woman she accused of taking pictures of anti-government protesters during 2019’s civil unrest.In sentencing Jessica So Wai-sin and two other co-defendants, including a social worker, District Judge Ernest Lin Kam-hung said the accused were “extremely self-centred” in thinking they did good rather than evil by “bullying a lone woman” and “spreading hatred against police” in the early days of the protests…
