Telangana minister counters PM’s remark on state formation
Telangana minister KT Rama Rao has criticized Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his remarks on the state’s formation, calling them “factually incorrect” and “ignorant and arrogant.” PM Modi said that neither Telangana nor Andhra Pradesh could celebrate the formation of the new state due to bloodshed and bitterness. Telangana is currently preparing for assembly elections where the ruling Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) is facing competition from the BJP and Congress.
