Delhi high court delivers split verdict on marital rape, refers matter to Supreme Court

The Delhi high court on Wednesday delivered a split verdict on the issue of criminalising ‘marital rape’. Justice Rajiv Shakdher and Justice Hari Shankar have granted a certificate to appeal to Supreme Court, saying substantial questions of law are involved in the matter.
