Khalistan sympathiser Amritpal on the run, dodges Punjab police after hot chase

Khalistan sympathiser and self-styled preacher Amritpal Singh, who heads Waris Punjab De (WPD), is on the run, the Punjab police said in a statement on Saturday evening. Amritpal, whose vehicle was part of a cavalcade, dodged the Punjab police in Shahkot-Mehatpur area. Two vehicles in his cavalcade were stopped at Mehatpur and seven of his associates arrested there.
